Mykonos is an island that has allot to offer: lazy afternoons by the pool, elegant ‘rose-all-day’ style lunches at its best beach clubs or notorious parties fuelled by the best DJ sets (read here on the best Mykonos beach clubs and party clubs). Whether you come for a relaxing getaway, elegant social interactions or a wild party, Mykonos is undoubtedly n1 European summer destination.
With high season in July and August, this polular Geek island becomes much busier then most of first-time vistors would imagine. With

Highlights
- BOOK EARLYBare in mind that Mykonos is a small yet very popular island. Book early (and I mean few months upfront kind of early) to get the best property. Last minute bookings will also result in high rates (and who needs that).

- HOW MANY OF YOU Going for a holiday with a group of friends or hosting buisness partners, book a villa big enough to fit everyone. Sharing a room for two or having it all for yourself?

- BOOK YOUR FUNMake sure you have made your dinners, day and night parties arrangement upfront. I cant stress enough how busy ( and unattainable) become the venues during high season.Same goes for boat charter, quad and helicopter ride from/to Athens

- THING BIG: EXTRA COMFORT Traveling in big groups is not only fun but also convenient: you can split the cost of a butler, cook, private party with a DJ, hostesses/dancers and fire show.

- (DONT) MIND VILLA LOCATIONConsider that Myonos is a not a walking island (although it seems small). Wherever you go (except the old town), you will drive. Choose your villa based on such specs as size, comfort level and view. We would not recommend to mind the location, especially if you are planning to host lost of house parties and/or to spend lots of time around the pool.

- BOOK YOUR WHEELS Dont expect to find an easy taxi ride on the island. On the other hand expect to find narrow and windng goat-trails-style road and drunk drivers. Unfortunatey here you can only count on your own means of transportation. You will be having fun, so a driver with a car (or a van for larger groups) is strongly recmmended.
